IPS Group Limited in Manchester is seeking an Employment Solicitor to join a Legal 500-recognised team handling a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious matters. You’ll gain exposure to high-quality work within a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Competenze

• Experience handling both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
• Excellent drafting and analytical skills.
• Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to client advice.
• Ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
• Proficiency across Microsoft Office applications and legal research tools.
• Degree-level education or equivalent professional qualification.

Mansioni

• Manage a varied caseload and provide commercially focused advice across a range of employment law matters.
• Manage Employment Tribunal proceedings from inception to conclusion.
• Review case papers and advise on prospects of success.
• Draft claims, responses and Employment Appeal Tribunal applications.
• Prepare witness statements and case documentation.
• Brief and liaise with Counsel; attend hearings when appropriate.
• Keep clients and stakeholders updated throughout proceedings.
• Advise insurers and private businesses on day-to-day employment law matters.
• Manage ACAS Early Conciliation matters, including settlement negotiations.
• Provide strategic advice on employee relations issues, grievances and disciplinary processes.
• Draft and review employment contracts, settlement agreements, employee handbooks and HR policies.
