IPS Group Limited is seeking an Employment Solicitor with up to 2 years PQE to join its expanding Employment team in Wigan on a hybrid basis. The role offers exposure to both claimant and respondent matters and a clear path to career progression.

You will work on a varied caseload, advising employers and employees, handling settlement agreements, and contributing to case strategy. Excellent communication and client care are essential, with a collaborative approach valued.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with up to 2 years' PQE

A highly regarded Legal 500 and Top 150 law firm is seeking a Newly Qualified to 2 Years PQE Employment Solicitor to join its expanding Employment team in Wigan working on a hybrid basis with 2 days in the office per week.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior employment lawyer looking to build a long-term career within a friendly, successful and growing team that offers genuine exposure to both claimant and respondent employment work. Unlike many employment practices that specialise in only one side of the market, this role provides the opportunity to develop a broad and commercially valuable skill set across contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.

The Opportunity

Working alongside experienced employment specialists, you will advise both employers and employees on a varied caseload covering:

• Day-to-day employment law and HR advisory work
• Contentious and non-contentious employment matters
• Merit assessments and case strategy
• Settlement agreements
• Disciplinary and grievance matters
• Redundancy and restructuring advice
• Employment documentation and contracts

The Ideal Candidate

Applications are welcomed from Solicitors with up to two years' PQE who can demonstrate:
