Job summary

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in a Design Engineering role.
• Proficient with SolidWorks.
• Based in commutable distance of Sheen, Buxton.
• Able to communicate with suppliers and customers.
• IT literate with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Designing systems and products using SolidWorks 3D modelling software.
• Preparing detailed specifications and technical drawings.
• Researching suitable solutions and producing cost quotations.
• Producing electrical harness drawings using 3D design software.
• Creating Bills of Materials.
• Ensuring projects meet safety and legal requirements.
