Junior Design and Project Engineer

We are seeking a Junior Design and Project Engineer for our client, a company specializing in metal fabrication within the engineering industry, based in Flint, Wales.

The successful candidate will join the expanding engineering team, assisting in the design and layout of ongoing engineering products.

Job Overview

• Assist MD, Design Manager, and Senior Project Engineers
• Mechanical CAD design of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium fabrications
• Mechanical CAD design of piping systems
• Raising quotes
• Managing project documentation, including health and safety and quality documentation
• Meeting clients and conducting site surveys

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering or design disciplines
• Previous experience in design and/or project roles is beneficial
• Experience in piping and metal fabrication services industry
• Residency within a commutable distance of Flint, Wales
• Full UK driving license preferred

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: £28,000 to £30,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications
• Full-time position: Monday to Thursday (08:00-17:00), Friday (08:00-16:00), 41.5 hours/week
• 22 days holiday plus 8 statutory/bank holidays
• Company pension scheme and other benefits
