Job summary

Learn Devon, the adult learning service of Devon County Council, is seeking a Junior Communications and Marketing Officer to promote learning opportunities across Devon. The role involves creating digital and printed communications, supporting campaigns, learner engagement activities, events and service promotions.

You will join the Marketing and Communications team, working in Exmouth with hybrid arrangements to deliver communications across Learn Devon and help improve access to education and

Qualifications

• Experience creating engaging digital content and managing social media channels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organised, creative and able to manage a variety of tasks.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and digital design tools such as Canva or the Adobe Suite.
• Understands the importance of accessible communications and audience engagement.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging content for social media, newsletters and printed materials.
• Assist with development and maintenance of the Learn Devon website, ensuring content is accurate, accessible and audience focused.
• Support engagement campaigns, promotional activities and events.
• Produce marketing resources that promote learning opportunities and celebrate learner success.
• Use website analytics and learner feedback to help improve communications and engagement.
