Job summary

Vincere represents a well-established national litigation team in Manchester seeking a junior Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their busy practice. You will gain broad exposure to commercial disputes, take on early responsibility on files, and work with experienced colleagues on complex matters.

You will support senior lawyers while also managing your own caseload with supervision, draft pleadings, perform research, attend conferences and client meetings, and contribute to business

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor (NQ to 3 years’ PQE or equivalent).
• Litigation experience is preferred but not essential if you can demonstrate transferable skills.
• Strong technical ability and attention to detail.
• Commercial, solution-driven mindset and good judgement.

Responsibilities

• Supporting senior lawyers with their caseloads of commercial disputes
• Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
• Drafting pleadings and correspondence and carrying out legal research and investigations
• Attending conferences, court hearings and client meetings as required
• Communicating with clients, counsel and other parties
• Supporting business development and profile raising initiatives
• Completing client and internal MI procedures
• Working to deadlines, quality measures and KPIs
• Meeting agreed chargeable and financial targets
• Working in line with internal policies and procedures
