Job summary

Vincere in Birmingham is seeking a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a well-established national litigation team. You will handle a broad caseload in commercial disputes with early responsibility and the support of experienced colleagues on complex matters.

The role offers hybrid working and exposure to a wide client base, including large organisations and public bodies. You will support senior lawyers, manage your own cases with supervision, and have opportunities to get involved in

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor (NQ to 3 years’ PQE or equivalent).
• Litigation experience is preferred but not essential if you can demonstrate strong interest and transferable skills.
• Strong organisation and time management, able to prioritise competing deadlines.
• Confident communicator with a collaborative team approach.

Responsibilities

• Supporting senior lawyers with their caseloads of commercial disputes
• Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
• Drafting pleadings and correspondence and carrying out legal research and investigations
• Attending conferences, court hearings and client meetings as required
• Communicating with clients, counsel and other parties
• Supporting business development and profile raising initiatives
• Completing client and internal MI procedures
• Working to deadlines, quality measures and KPIs
• Meeting agreed chargeable and financial targets
• Working in line with internal policies and procedures
