Role Details

Hybrid role: 3 days in central London office / 2 days from home

Salary range: 30k - 40k

Purpose of the Role

Seeking a motivated Junior Finance Analyst to support our retail finance team. The role involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting, ideal for someone eager to develop their finance career in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
2. Analyze data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
3. Support budgeting and forecasting by organizing relevant data.
4. Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
5. Support financial analysis for business decisions and strategic initiatives.
6. Maintain financial models and databases under supervision.
7. Contribute to data projects for the business.
8. Prepare presentations for senior management.
9. Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects as needed.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
2. Studying for or interested in professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
3. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
4. Proficiency in Excel and financial software.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and in a team.
7. Knowledge of retail industry trends is a plus.
