Job summary

OCC Group is seeking a Junior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for an MSP client based in Stoke-on-Trent. You will provide first and second line cloud support, troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues, and help maintain service levels across AWS, Azure, and related platforms.

You will work with internal teams and vendors to resolve incidents, monitor performance, and contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation. UK-based candidates eligible for security clearance are invited to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong technical IT support background with cloud experience.
• Experience in cloud incidents and escalation processes.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure or GCP environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as first/second line cloud support via multiple channels.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in cloud infrastructure and services.
• Log, categorize, and escalate incidents with thorough documentation.
• Guide and support junior engineers during escalations.
• Monitor cloud services and respond to anomalies.
• Create and maintain knowledge base and SOPs.
• Coordinate with cloud vendors for complex issues.
