Job summary

CAC I is seeking a Junior Infrastructure, Cloud & Security Engineer in London to contribute to a modern cloud and security stack. You will support AWS environments, network infrastructure, and security controls while gaining hands-on experience across Linux, Windows, and enterprise infrastructure.

You’ll work with Cisco/Meraki gear, engage in incident response, vulnerability management, and security best practices in a collaborative Technology team.

Qualifications

• Understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, DNS and DHCP.
• Basic understanding of firewalls, VPNs and network security principles.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of Windows Server and Active Directory fundamentals.
• Awareness of AWS and cloud computing concepts.
• Understanding of common cybersecurity threats and security best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A proactive attitude and enthusiasm for learning.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the administration and monitoring of AWS cloud environments.
• Supporting network infrastructure across Cisco and Meraki platforms.
• Helping manage firewalls, VPNs and network security controls.
• Supporting Linux server administration, patching and monitoring.
• Assisting with incident investigation and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Contributing to vulnerability management and security improvement initiatives.
• Supporting ISO27001 compliance activities and security best practices.
• Producing technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Contributing to infrastructure upgrades and technology projects.
