We are seeking a motivated Junior Clinical Safety Officer with a passion for patient safety and an interest in healthcare risk management. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates to gain hands-on experience, build a foundation in digital clinical safety practices, and progress their career from Junior Clinical Safety Officer (CSO) to Clinical Safety Officer after completing the CSO course and gaining further experience. This is a full-time role with participation in the on-call rota.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the Clinical Safety function in ensuring digital health solutions meet standards and regulations.
• Work under the guidance of a qualified Clinical Safety Officer.
• Ensure product compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
• Engage with clinicians and teams to ensure safe design and implementation of the System C product suite.
• Participate in clinical risk assessments.
• Assist in safety activities and documentation.
• Support investigation, reporting, root cause analysis, and resolution of safety issues.
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Assist with external audits and implement recommendations.
• Participate in on-call and out-of-hours responsibilities.
• Maintain personal clinical registration and competence.
• Assist with safety reports, product safety cases, hazard logs, clinical evaluations, and documentation for assigned products.

Skills & Experience

Mandatory:

• Current registration with a professional clinical body (e.g., NMC, HCPC).
• NHS informatics experience with EPR/software.
• Understanding of clinical workflows in NHS/private healthcare.
• Knowledge of NHS and healthcare market dynamics.
