South Gloucestershire Council is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to help shape and design future digital solutions within the Design, Develop and Transition team. You will apply business analysis and service design skills to understand problems, identify user needs and deliver user-centred digital products.

The role sits in a cross-functional delivery group that co-creates products and projects across the Information, Technology & Digital service.

Formación

• Experience gathering and documenting information from users and stakeholders to inform decision-making.
• Awareness of techniques and tools to gather information about current processes.
• Ability to manage workload effectively and handle conflicting deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and presentation skills; able to explain complex information clearly.
• Ability to plan and progress work in line with guidelines and policies.

Responsabilidades

• Under the direction of Senior Business Analysts, provide advice to customers and colleagues, ensuring guidance on policies, procedures and processes while supporting identification of user and business needs.
• Across a range of digital products and projects, maintain and update knowledge about information systems and databases to ensure services are understood.
• Carry out research, collate data and present information within an area of service, including drafting documentation and presenting clear findings to support business analysis and service improvement.
• Gain knowledge of relevant regulations, codes of practice, processes and procedures to support effective outcomes, considering business and policy constraints where required.
