Job summary

South Gloucestershire Council is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to shape and design future digital solutions for residents and frontline workers. You will work within the Discover and Design practice in an Agile team, focusing on user-centred digital products and low-code platforms.

You will gather requirements, write clear user stories with acceptance criteria, and design end-to-end service journeys. Strong BA/service design experience and Capita One knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

Experience in Business Analysis, Service Design or similar in a digital delivery team.
Experience with digital transformation and delivering value for money.
Experience in agile delivery environments and how to work with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Gather and refine requirements, write user stories with acceptance criteria for development.
Design end-to-end service journeys and customer experiences.
Produce process diagrams, wireframes, and evidence-based proposals with colleagues.
Contribute to cross-functional Agile design workshops and reviews.
Identify opportunities for process improvement through digital technology.
