Job summary

Mohsin Cooper Architecture & Planning is seeking a Junior Architectural Technician to support design delivery in our Hove office. You will coordinate feasibility studies, planning and building control submissions, and liaise with external consultants to ensure clear, coordinated technical information.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of UK building regulations and planning processes; 2–3 years UK experience preferred.
• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Technology; translate concepts into technical solutions.
• Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Construction Drawings for planning and building control.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp; InDesign/Photoshop considered an advantage.
• Relevant qualification in architectural technology, architecture, or closely related field.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; willing to learn in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience on UK-based multi-unit housing schemes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and delivery of architectural projects with the Hove team.
• Coordinate information for feasibility studies, planning applications and building control submissions.
• Prepare construction packages and liaise with external consultants to ensure coordination.
• Work closely with Directors and senior team members on site-based tasks.
