Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Hull is seeking an Architectural Technician to join our national multidisciplinary consultancy. You will draw packages using Revit and AutoCAD, prepare building regulation drawings and tender packages, and coordinate design information with the project team.

The role requires UK architectural technology qualification, post-qualification experience, and strong communication and organizational skills. Limited travel for site visits may be involved. Permanent role.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology required.
• UK practice experience post-qualification preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD; Revit experience advantageous.
• Live within a commutable distance to Hull; UK regulations knowledge helpful.

Duties for the role of Architectural Technician

• Produce drawing packages using Revit
• Prepare building regulation drawings and construction details
• Prepare tender drawing and information packages
• Coordinate architectural design information with other members of the project team
• Undertake site visits and surveys to ensure technical compliance

Requirements for the role of Architectural Technician

• Degree or diploma within Architectural Technology
• Relevant post qualification experience as an Architectural Technician within a UK practice
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Revit experience would be advantageous
• Working knowledge of UK building regulations
• Excellent technical knowledge and experience preparing drawings through RIBA Stages 3-6
• Experience working on commercial or industrial projects
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Live within a commutable distance to the Hull
