Job summary
IP-People in the United Kingdom is seeking a Junior / 1st Line Onsite Support Engineer to join its technical team in Greater Manchester. You'll start with hands-on on-site support, helping users and learning how a professional MSP operates.
You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, gain exposure to Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, AD/Entra ID and network services, and have a clear path toward Service Desk Senior, Project Engineering, Consultancy or Architecture based on strengths.
Qualifications
- Junior/1st line onsite IT support role.
- Willingness to learn and develop within an MSP.
- Hands-on IT experience from internships, college, or previous roles.
- Full UK driving licence required for onsite visits in Greater Manchester.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support to users and onsite engineering.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Assist in deployment and configuration of Microsoft 365, AD/Entra ID and Exchange Online.
- Grow within the MSP, with training and progression opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on projects and incident resolution.
