Job summary

Timberwise is seeking Preservation Joiners to join our team in the Bodmin area of the South West. You will perform timber floor removal, timber treatments, and joinery tasks across sites, travelling as needed. Working hours are 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime.

We offer OTE £35k-£40k (dependent on experience), overtime, a monthly bonus, generous holidays, pension, health care plan, wellbeing support, a van, tools provided, and industry training.

The Role

Due to our growing business, we are looking to increase our team of Preservation Joiners throughout the South West and specifically in the Bodmin area; there will be a need to travel throughtout the area.

As a Joiner your role will include:

• Removal and replacement of timber floors
• Application of Timber treatments
• First and second fix joinery work
• Skirting boards
• Timber resin splice repairs

We are looking for someone in the South West who has:

• Proven skills in Joinery
• A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to plan and manage their own workload.
• A team player and Self starter
• Strong communication skills
• Enthusiastic and take pride in your work
• Previous experience in the preservation industry is desirable but full training will be provided.
• CSCS card holder

Hours of work are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with occasional out of hours and weekend work, for which overtime is paid.
