Job summary

Timberwise is expanding its South West team and is seeking experienced Plasterers to cover Bodmin and surrounding areas. The role involves rendering and skimming post DPC treatments, dot and dab finishing, boarding and multi-coat render systems, with travel throughout the South West.

The successful applicant will have proven plastering skills, be proactive, reliable and able to manage their own workload. CSCS card holder and willingness to travel are essential.

Due to our growing business, we are looking to increase our team of Plasterers throughout the UK and specifically in the Bodmin area; there will be a need to travel throughout the region.

The Role

Due to our growing business, we are looking to increase our team of Plasterers throughout the South West and specifically in the Bodmin area; there will be a need to travel throughout the region.

As a Plasterer your role will include:

• Rendering and skimming post DPC treatments
• Dot and Dab finishing
• Boarding and skimming
• Multi coat render systems
• Some joinery experience is desirable
• Some experience with waterproofing/membrane systems is desirable

We are looking for someone in the South West who has:

• Proven skills in Plastering
• A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to plan and manage their own workload.
• A team player and Self starter
• Strong communication skills
• Enthusiastic and take pride in your work
• Previous experience in the preservation industry is desirable but full training will be provided.
• CSCS card holder
