Job summary

Timberwise is a family run specialist construction business with 50+ years of experience, active across the UK. We are expanding our team of Property Care Technicians to cover property preservation and repair works with travel within the Middlesex area.

The role requires plastering/joinery skills, a proactive mindset, and a CSCS card, with full training provided. Competitive salary, company van, and a strong team culture await.

Qualifications

• Proven plastering and/or joinery skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated with ability to plan workload.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid CSCS card and NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent).
• Preservation industry experience desirable with full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Conduct damp and timber treatments including dry rot, woodworm, and damp proofing.
• Carry out waterproofing installations and first/second fix joinery work.
• Complete general plastering tasks as required.
• Ensure high quality, safe and efficient works.
• Maintain excellent customer service and represent the Timberwise brand.

The Role

As part of our continued growth, we are looking to expand our team of Property Care Technicians across the UK. You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of property preservation and repair works, with travel required within the Middlesex area.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct damp and timber treatments including dry rot, woodworm, and damp proofing.
• Carry out waterproofing installations and associated first and second fix joinery work.
• Complete general plastering tasks as required.
• Ensure all works are completed to the highest standard, safely and efficiently.
• Maintain excellent customer service and represent the Timberwise brand professionally on every project.

Skills And Experience

We are looking for someone who has:

• Proven skills in plastering and/or joinery.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to plan and manage their own workload.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A valid CSCS card.
• NVQ Level 2 qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in the preservation industry is desirable but full training will be provided.

Working Hours And Benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (with occasional out-of-hours or weekend work paid as overtime)

Salary: Competitive, based on experience and skill level

• Competitive salary with monthly bonus scheme and overtime available. OTE £45k - £50k (Basic is £35k) Dependent on experience
