Job summary

Timberwise is a family-run specialist construction business operating across Scotland, England and Wales. We are expanding our Preservation Joiners team in Scotland, with Dundee as a focal area, and travel across the region will be required.

As a Joiner you will remove and replace timber floors, apply timber treatments, undertake first and second fix joinery, fit skirting boards and timber resin splice repairs. CSCS card is required; full training will be provided for preservation duties.

The Role

Due to our growing business, we are looking to increase our team of Preservation Joiners throughout Scotland and specifically in the Dundee area; there will be a need to travel throughtout the area.
As a Joiner your role will include:

• Removal and replacement of timber floors
• Application of Timber treatments
• First and second fix joinery work
• Skirting boards
• Timber resin splice repairs

We are looking for someone in Scotland who has:

• Proven skills in Joinery
• A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to plan and manage their own workload.
• A team player and Self starter
• Strong communication skills
• Enthusiastic and take pride in your work
• Previous experience in the preservation industry is desirable but full training will be provided.
• CSCS card holder

Hours of work are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with occasional out of hours and weekend work, for which overtime is paid.
