Job summary

Search Consultancy Ltd is seeking an experienced joiner for an immediate start on a commercial/construction site in Wales, near Caernarfon. The role covers first and second fix joinery, door installations, frames, architraves, and timber components, requiring reading technical drawings and timely delivery.

You will work 7:30am–5:00pm, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality workmanship, and team collaboration with site management and other trades.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a site joiner or carpenter.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Own tools and PPE.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out all aspects of first and second fix joinery.
• Installing doors, frames, skirting, architraves, and ironmongery.
• Fitting kitchens, internal fixtures, and timber components.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and site plans.
• Measuring, cutting, and fitting timber and sheet materials to a high standard.
• Ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and within project timescales.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Working collaboratively with site management and other trades.
• Adhering to all site health and safety procedures and company policies.
