Job summary

Thorn Baker Construction is seeking experienced Shopfitting Joiners for a McDonald’s fit-out project in Caernarfon, Wales. The role requires skilled joiners with shopfitting/commercial fit-out experience to deliver high-quality joinery work on site.

Responsibilities include 1st and 2nd fix joinery, installing doors and skirting, and working to drawings. Valid CSCS card and own tools are essential; potential for extended work for the right candidates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a joiner in shopfitting or commercial fit-outs.
• CSCS card required.
• Own tools and PPE provided.

SHOPFITTING JOINERS REQUIRED – CAERNARFON, WALES

We are currently looking for experienced Shopfitting Joiners to work on a McDonald’s fit-out project in Caernarfon.

The Role

We need skilled and reliable Joiners with previous shopfitting/commercial fit-out experience to join the team and help complete the project to a high standard.

Duties will include:

• General 1st and 2nd fix joinery
• Installing doors, frames, skirting and architraves
• Fitting timber and other fixtures
• Installing shopfitting units and fixtures
• Working from drawings and site instructions
• Measuring, cutting and fitting materials accurately
• Working alongside other trades on a busy commercial fit-out
• Ensuring all joinery work is completed to a high standard
• Keeping the work area clean, safe and organised
• Following all site health & safety requirements
• Proven experience as a Joiner
• Previous experience working on retail or similar fast-paced fit-out projects preferred
• Valid CSCS card
• Own tools suitable for the work
• Full PPE
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Able to work for the full duration of the project

Project Duration

The job is due to start Wednesday 30th September 2026 and is expected to run for approximately 5 weeks, with the potential for further work for the right candidates.
