Job summary

Oxford-based Search Consultancy Ltd is seeking a joiner for an immediate start on a range of commercial and construction projects in the city. The role covers first and second fix joinery, doors, frames, and timber fittings on site.

You will read technical drawings, work with site management and other trades, and ensure safety, quality, and timely completion. A valid CSCS card and own tools are required; a strong work ethic is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a site joiner or carpenter.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Own tools and PPE.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality workmanship.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out all aspects of first and second fix joinery
• Installing doors, frames, skirting, architraves, and ironmongery
• Fitting kitchens, internal fixtures, and timber components
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and site plans
• Measuring, cutting, and fitting timber and sheet materials to a high standard
• Ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and within project timescales
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Working collaboratively with site management and other trades
• Adhering to all site health and safety procedures and company policies
