Job summary

Construction Resources is seeking a skilled Joiner to support our social housing maintenance team across Greater Merseyside. You will perform a full range of joinery repairs in occupied and void properties, installing doors, frames, skirting, kitchens and timber fixtures.

The role requires NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry & Joinery, proven domestic joinery experience, and a valid UK driving license; CSCS is desirable. A van and fuel card are provided, with overtime potential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in domestic joinery, ideally within social housing or similar environments.
• Full UK driving licence.
• CSCS desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a full range of joinery repairs and maintenance in occupied and void properties.
• Install and repair doors, door frames, skirting, kitchens, flooring, and other timber-based fixtures.
• Support planned/responsive maintenance works across the housing stock.
• Ensure all work meets health and safety and regulatory standards.
• Accurately record job details and complete paperwork or digital logs using a PDA or mobile system.
