Job summary

VanRath Search & Selection is sourcing a skilled joiner for projects in Belfast, Northern Ireland. This role focuses on refurbishing void social housing properties to meet lettable standards, with opportunities for overtime and a company van and tools provided.

You will work within a dedicated team, upholding safety procedures and high quality workmanship. Candidates should have NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry & Joinery and proven social housing experience, plus a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Carpentry and Joinery.
• Proven experience in social housing refurbishments or similar environments.
• Knowledge of building regulations, lettable standards, and health & safety procedures.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Reliable, adaptable and works well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out joinery works including kitchen installs, door hanging, skirting, architraves, flooring, and window repairs.
• Ensure void properties meet lettable standards prior to handover.
• Collaborate with other trades to deliver cohesive refurbishments.
• Maintain high safety standards and uphold company procedures.
• Accurately complete job documentation and report any issues promptly.
• Support maintenance of tools and van stock.
