Job summary

Lanes Group is recruiting for a HGV Jetting Assistant to join our team in Birmingham. You will work closely with the HGV Jetting Operative to carry out high-pressure jetting and ensure safe operation of equipment.

Salary is £13.00 per hour with 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, and weekly pay. We offer training, progression opportunities, and benefits including pension and death in service.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Training will be provided on Water Jetting Association Red or blue book, Banksman, NRSWA, EUSR National Water Hygiene, Medium risk confined space.

Responsibilities

• Assist the HGV jetting operator in setting up and operating high-pressure water jetting equipment. Operating machinery and tools safely.
• Carry out inspections & identify possible blockages, leaks and resolve the issues.
• Updating and completing site documentation using electronic tablet
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements and safe system of work and follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment and report any issues.
• Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Wearing and maintaining any Personal Protective Equipment provided for your protection at all times.

Education
