Job summary

Client Server is seeking a Software Engineer in London with a focus on Java Kafka API. You will design, develop and deliver transformational projects, primarily for financial services clients, leveraging Kafka, AWS, and CI/CD.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with two days in the London office and client site exposure, providing continual learning and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong Java development skills including multi-threading and concurrency.
• Experience with Spring Boot and microservices.
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems.
• Good knowledge of REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of AWS.
• Strong CS fundamentals: OOP, data structures and design patterns.
• Familiar with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborative and client-facing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver transformational projects.
