Job summary

BrisDoc is seeking an experienced senior operational manager to lead the service across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, ensuring high standards of patient care and service delivery. The role combines line management with strategic oversight, working closely with Shift Managers and the wider Operational Team.

Responsibilities

• Senior operational management, supervision and quality assurance to shifts to ensure high standards of patient care across the service.
• Collaboration with Shift Managers to ensure arrangements for the operational management of shifts are fit for purpose.
• Ensure patient care standards and patient satisfaction are maintained by the work of all team members on duty.
• Line and Team Management: responsibility for line management of all staff in the team, supervision and support, manage HR issues and performance, disciplinary and sickness meetings with support from Ops Leads.
• Rota Management: co-ordinate team rota and ensure shifts are covered, plan contingencies for unexpected absence, ensure time- and resource-efficient rota management.
