The University of Manchester is seeking a motivated Teaching, Learning and Student Experience Coordinator (Teacher Education) to support all placement activities for students in Initial Teacher Education programmes. The role includes managing a small team and liaising with students, academic and professional services teams, partner schools and external regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Ability to supervise and motivate staff.
• Excellent communication and numeracy skills with strong organisational abilities.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and contribute to improving systems and procedures.
• Flexible team player who can support colleagues.
• Experience in an ITE or education-related administrative environment.
• Experience of working with external regulatory or compliance bodies.

Responsabilités

• Provide line management for the Initial Teacher Education team.
• Coordinate bursaries, travel awards, mentor and school payments and maintain audit-ready records.
• Support the DfE census with trainee records and bursary data.
• Maintain accurate records of students and placements in line with university policy.
