Job summary

The University of Manchester is seeking a Teaching, Learning and Student Experience Coordinator (Teacher Education) to lead the ITE team and coordinate placement-related activities for our students. The role involves liaising with students, academic and professional services, partner schools and external bodies in a dynamic environment.

You will drive bursary distributions, audit-ready records, and support regulatory reporting while maintaining high-quality student experiences and placements.

Responsibilities

• Provide line management for the Initial Teacher Education team.
• Coordinate the disbursal of student bursaries, travel awards, mentor and school payments; maintain records for audits and Ofsted.
• Support the DfE census and ensure trainee records/bursary info are recorded.
• Maintain accurate records of students and placements in line with university policies.
