Job summary

University of Manchester is seeking a motivated Teaching, Learning and Student Experience Coordinator (Teacher Education) to support placement activities for Initial Teacher Education students. The role includes managing a small team, liaising with students and professional services, partner schools and external bodies including the DfE and Ofsted.

You will coordinate bursaries, travel awards, mentor and school payments, ensuring records are accurate for internal and external audits and Ofsted

Responsibilities

• Provide line management for the Initial Teacher Education team.
• Coordinate disbursal of student bursaries, travel awards, mentor and school payments; maintain audit-ready records.
• Support the DfE census and ensure trainee records and bursary information are accurately recorded.
