Job summary

Prezzo Italian is looking for passionate chefs to join our kitchen teams at varying levels. You start at Level 1 and progress through Level 2 to Level 3, with pay adjusted by level and experience. You will learn, cover multiple kitchen sections, and grow with our brand as Prezzo Italian expands across the UK.

You’ll receive comprehensive training, support from central kitchen teams, and a clear path from Level 1 to Level 3, with opportunities to advance to Sous Chef and Head Chef as you develop.

Qualifications

• A love of food and a real desire to learn and grow.
• Energy, good organisation and a positive attitude, even on the busiest nights.
• A team player who's happy to muck in.
• Pride in getting the details right.
• For Level 2, kitchen experience and confidence on more than one section. For Level 3, proficiency across every section and good knowledge of food safety and allergens.

Responsibilities

• Prep fresh ingredients and cook every dish fresh, properly and to spec.
• Cover your sections confidently through prep and service, and learn new ones as you grow.
• Keep quality consistent, even on the busiest nights.
• Help your teammates when it gets busy, and step in wherever the kitchen needs you.
• Work closely with front of house so every plate goes out right.
• Follow food safety, allergen and health and safety procedures every time.
• Keep your section clean, organised and well stocked.
• At Level 3, help with stock rotation, ordering and keeping waste down.
