Joshua Robert Recruitment is partnering with an ambitious, fast-growing organisation to appoint a Head of IT Operations in Birmingham. You will own the technology function, set IT strategy and lead a team to deliver transformation across the business.

The role offers a real opportunity to influence senior leadership, drive change and work across the whole organisation. It also includes pension, private healthcare and hybrid working arrangements as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Proven senior IT leadership experience.
• Track record delivering IT strategy and transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, infrastructure, networks and cyber security.
• Experience managing budgets, suppliers and third-party contracts.
• Able to explain technology in plain English to non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Set and deliver an IT strategy that supports the company’s growth plans.
• Lead, develop and inspire the IT team, building a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Drive digital transformation, from cloud migration and automation to new systems that improve work processes.
• Oversee infrastructure, networks, applications and service delivery to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Strengthen cyber security, data protection and business continuity.
• Manage IT budget, suppliers and contracts for best value and service.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to identify technology solutions addressing business challenges.
• Explore new tools, including AI and data-driven solutions, to keep the business ahead of the curve.
