Job summary

Interface Recruitment’s client, a highly successful international business, seeks a Head of IT to take overall responsibility for global IT and customer technology. The role is based in Nottingham with hybrid working and reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

The position covers core technology, information security, a major systems improvement programme and customer-facing digital platforms, leading senior managers across IT domains.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large, broad IT and digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, networking, cloud, and service delivery.
• Able to communicate complex tech in plain English to senior leadership.
• Proven ability to build and develop senior management teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the global IT and digital capability.
• Build and deliver a global IT plan that delivers value for money.
• Advise the senior leadership on technology and information security.
• Lead and develop a team of senior managers across IT domains.
• Support and coach project teams to deliver a global systems improvement programme.
• Own the stability and support of customer facing websites and digital platforms.
• Maintain governance of the IT function and controls.
• Develop an information security strategy to improve security posture.
• Drive value from technology spend using lean budgeting.
