Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group is recruiting an IT Trainer for its internal technology team in the West Midlands. You will own employee onboarding, refresher training and the creation of engaging learning materials to help colleagues use technology confidently and securely.

Working with the IT support team and department heads, you will deliver structured and responsive training across Microsoft 365 and a range of business applications, while continuously improving the organisation’s training approach.

Qualifications

• Previous IT Trainer experience within a legal or professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications.
• Experience training users with varying levels of technical confidence.
• Understanding of systems and practices used in a law firm.
• Experience creating training guides, presentations and digital learning materials.
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and online training resources.
• Strong presentation, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
• Proactive in identifying training needs and improving programmes.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple training requirements.
• A relevant IT training or learning and development certification is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive IT induction training to new employees.
• Tailor onboarding sessions to suit different roles, teams and levels of technical ability.
• Develop and maintain structured onboarding and refresher training programmes.
• Identify skills gaps and arrange targeted training sessions for existing employees.
• Deliver training on Microsoft 365 applications and other business-critical systems.
• Create clear and engaging guides, presentations, videos and e-learning materials.
• Help develop and maintain an accessible online library of training resources.
• Design assessments and testing methods to measure user understanding and proficiency.
• Support the rollout of new software, system updates and changes to working practices.
• Work with the IT support team to identify recurring issues that could be addressed through training.
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure training supports operational and business needs.
• Explore new learning methods and continuously improving the organisation’s training approach.
