Job summary

Ashdown Group is seeking an IT Trainer to design and deliver technology training across Torquay, Newton Abbot and Exeter. The role involves helping colleagues adopt new technology and understand AI applications within a growing organisation.

You will deliver classroom, remote and 1:1 training, create guides and materials, and support digital transformation with IT and business stakeholders. Travel between offices is required and covered.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering technology training.
• Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge, especially Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience supporting technology adoption, digital transformation or change programmes.
• Understanding of AI and its business applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation and coaching skills.
• The ability to work with people at all levels and to mentor others.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering classroom, remote and one-to-one technology training
• Creating user guides, training materials, videos and quick reference guides
• Supporting the rollout and adoption of new technology and digital initiatives
• Delivering training around Microsoft 365, particularly Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel
• Supporting AI adoption and helping colleagues understand its practical applications
• Delivering cybersecurity, phishing and technology awareness training
• Working alongside IT and business stakeholders on digital transformation and change initiatives
• Adapting training to suit different audiences and learning styles
• Travelling between multiple offices as required (travel covered)
