Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking an IT Field Technician to install, maintain and troubleshoot technology across our Yorkshire sites, classrooms and staff offices. You will visit multiple sites, provide proactive IT support and ensure systems stay up and running to support our young people and staff.

Key requirements include strong knowledge of Microsoft OS and Office, iPad support experience, networking skills and the ability to work across locations with a driving licence.

Qualifications

• Solid expertise in Microsoft Operating systems and Office Applications.
• Experience supporting iPad in educational environments is preferred.
• Networking knowledge and hardware/software troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and fix technology across offices, classrooms and homes.
• Provide daily end-user IT support and guidance.
• Visit sites regionally to diagnose issues and keep systems running smoothly.

Our IT Technicians are people who dazzle our end users every day, by installing, maintaining, or fixing technology in their offices, classrooms and homes while offering them daily support and expertise to support them in their goal of providing aspirational environments for all our young people.

A Driving License is a requirement for this role as you will be visiting sites across the region, providing them with friendly, proactive IT support which will help our teams to create brighter futures. You'll install equipment and keep it well maintained, and when problems arise will be there to troubleshoot and diagnose to help keep everything up and running across the Witherslack Group.
