Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking an IT Field Technician to install, maintain and fix technology across our sites in Yorkshire. You will travel between offices, classrooms and homes, delivering proactive IT support to help create brighter futures for our young people.

The role requires a Driving License and a proactive, customer‑facing approach, with opportunities to develop skills through ongoing training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Microsoft Operating systems and Microsoft Office Applications.
• iPad support (preferably in an educational environment).
• Networking knowledge.
• Hardware and software knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, or fix technology in offices, classrooms and homes.
• Provide daily IT support to end users across sites.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to keep systems running smoothly across locations.

Our IT Technicians are people who dazzle our end users every day, by installing, maintaining, or fixing technology in their offices, classrooms and homes while offering them daily support and expertise to support them in their goal of providing aspirational environments for all our young people.

A Driving License is a requirement for this role as you will be visiting sites across the region, providing them with friendly, proactive IT support which will help our teams to create brighter futures. You’ll install equipment and keep it well maintained, and when problems arise will be there to troubleshoot and diagnose to help keep everything up and running across the Witherslack Group.
