Job summary

Witherslack Group in the United Kingdom is hiring an IT Field Technician to support our sites across the South East. You’ll install, maintain and troubleshoot technology in offices, classrooms and homes while delivering daily end-user support.

A driving licence is required to visit sites; you’ll install equipment and keep systems running while helping teams create brighter futures. The role offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Solid expertise in Microsoft Operating systems and Office applications.
• iPad support experience (educational environment preferred).
• Networking knowledge to support onsite and remote devices.
• Hardware and software troubleshooting and repair abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and fix technology across offices, classrooms and homes.
• Provide daily end-user support and guidance to staff and learners.
• Visit sites regionally to install equipment and diagnose issues.

Our IT Technicians are people who dazzle our end users every day, by installing, maintaining, or fixing technology in their offices, classrooms and homes while offering them daily support and expertise to support them in their goal of providing aspirational environments for all our young people.

A Driving License is a requirement for this role as you will be visiting sites across the region, providing them with friendly, proactive IT support which will help our teams to create brighter futures. You’ll install equipment and keep it well maintained, and when problems arise will be there to troubleshoot and diagnose to help keep everything up and running across the Witherslack Group.
