Job summary

Witherslack Group Ltd. is seeking an IT Field Technician to install, maintain and repair technology across offices, classrooms and homes, providing daily end-user support to staff and pupils.

You will travel to multiple sites in the region, troubleshooting issues to keep systems up and running and ensure a seamless IT experience for our teams. A driving licence is required as you will visit sites across the region, delivering proactive support and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Solid expertise in Microsoft OS and Office applications.
• Experience supporting iPads in an educational or similar environment is preferred.
• Strong networking knowledge.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Willingness to travel across sites with a driving license.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, or fix technology across offices, classrooms and homes.
• Provide daily end-user IT support and guidance.
• Visit sites across the region to keep systems running.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose IT problems to minimize downtime.

Our IT Technicians are people who dazzle our end users every day, by installing, maintaining, or fixing technology in their offices, classrooms and homes while offering them daily support and expertise to support them in their goal of providing aspirational environments for all our young people.

A Driving License is a requirement for this role as you will be visiting sites across the region, providing them with friendly, proactive IT support which will help our teams to create brighter futures. You’ll install equipment and keep it well maintained, and when problems arise will be there to troubleshoot and diagnose to help keep everything up and running across the Witherslack Group.
