The Thinking Schools Academy Trust is seeking an IT Technician to join the IT Team (Thinking Technology) at the Kent West Hub. You will support ICT services, service end-users, and coordinate with schools and third-party suppliers.

Based at one site with travel to other academies as needed, you will manage the helpdesk tickets and contribute to the delivery of high-quality IT services for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service with a solution-focused approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Pro-active, able to work independently and in a team.
• Flexible to work across the department and balance workload.
• Systematic approach to identifying and solving problems.
• Experience with Microsoft operating systems and IT peripherals.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children and young people.

Responsabilités

• Respond to customer comments and complaints, resolving or escalating as needed.
• Stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining service.
• Communicate with students, staff, directors, governors, guests, and contractors.
• Manage day-to-day tickets in the school helpdesk and assist others in the hub.
• Provide in-depth fault resolution updates on tickets and resolve issues where possible.
