Job summary

Hunter Selection in Paignton is seeking an IT Support Professional to join our growing technology team. This hands-on role covers core systems, end-user devices and business infrastructure, with a broad remit across incident resolution and project work.

You'll provide 1st/2nd line support, manage Microsoft 365 and endpoints, troubleshoot across hardware, software and networks, and work with stakeholders to keep systems secure and up to date.

Qualifications

• Experience in an IT Support or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
• Experience supporting users in a busy business environment.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing hardware, software and end-user devices.
• Strong problem-solving and proactive support approach.
• Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical users.
• SQL experience would be advantageous.
• Full UK Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support to users across the organisation.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, user accounts and endpoint devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and system-related issues.
• Assist with the maintenance and improvement of business-critical systems and infrastructure.
• Support device deployment, configuration and lifecycle management.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver an excellent support experience.
• Maintain security best practices and help ensure systems remain compliant and up to date.
• Contribute to IT projects, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
