Job summary

Aston Community Education Trust is seeking an IT Technician to join the IT Services team. Based at Aston Academy, you will travel to other ACET academies to provide robust IT support across hardware, software and systems, ensuring a high standard of service.

The role focuses on developing IT skills across Windows, Office and devices, with opportunities to grow in cybersecurity and infrastructure tasks within a forward-thinking multi-academy trust.

• Provide IT hardware, software and systems support to users across ACET.

Job description

Aston Community Education Trust are a forward thinking and ambitious multi-academy trust, comprising of three secondary academies and nine junior academies across the Rotherham, Sheffield and North Derbyshire areas.

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, approachable and committed individual to join Aston Community Education Trust. The successful candidate will work as part of a team of IT Technicians to provide technical support for users of all IT hardware, software and systems.

This role is working 37 hours per week - Specific working hours will be between 7.30am - 5.00pm (to be agreed with the successful candidate on appointment)

The post-holder will be based at Aston Academy but you will be required to travel to the other academies within the trust to ensure an efficient and effective service is provided in all ACET locations by the IT Services team.
