Job summary

New Appointments Group is seeking a System Support Engineer in Folkestone to maintain IT systems and provide day-to-day support for colleagues. You will manage user setups, resolve IT issues, and contribute to system improvements.

The role requires strong Windows/AD knowledge, SQL reporting skills, and some programming familiarity (C#/.NET). On-site work with a focus on reliability and proactive problem solving is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office/365 and Windows environments.
• Experience with Active Directory and user provisioning.
• Familiarity with virtualisation (VMware) and SQL reporting.
• Basic programming in C#/.NET is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform IT admin tasks on clients, servers and infrastructure.
• Commission new users, including their computers and setting up their accounts.
• Troubleshoot end-user and infrastructure issues.
• Develop and implement solutions using C# and .NET and produce reports from SQL.
• Produce documentation for existing and new systems across the company.
