Job summary

Tropic Biosciences is seeking an IT Engineer in Norwich to oversee and enhance our IT systems, databases and infrastructure. You will work with internal teams and external vendors to keep our environment secure, reliable and efficient.

The role covers system administration, user support, and continuous improvement of IT operations. You will be pivotal in supporting our Microsoft 365 suite, Power Platform and related services at Tropic’s Norwich site.

Qualifications

Proven experience supporting, maintaining and configuring a wide range of devices.
Strong hands-on experience as a Microsoft 365 administrator, including Exchange Online, Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams and Intune.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform & Power BI.
Good experience in second-line IT support.

Responsibilities

Coordinate communications between internal stakeholders and external developers to manage LIMS development.
Administer Power Platform & Microsoft 365.
Support troubleshooting and testing development of our systems.
Provide second-line IT support and escalate to third-party providers when needed.
Implement processes and security improvements for IT operations.
Support web domains security and maintenance.
