Job summary

IMI plc, a global engineering group, is seeking an IT professional to support and manage in-house IT systems, end-user devices, and network services. You will ensure availability, security, and compliant operation of business-critical applications while collaborating with IT colleagues and external suppliers.

Key tasks include first-line end-user support, network monitoring, server/devices administration, patching, security provisioning, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Excellent demonstrable knowledge of Windows 11 and Windows Server 2019+.
• Strong Active Directory, VMware, and Microsoft 365 administration experience.
• Solid networking basics and experience with imaging, patching, and backups.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to end users and resolve hardware/software issues.
• Monitor and maintain network connectivity; escalate complex problems as needed.
• Install, configure and maintain servers and end-user devices; perform health checks and patch management.
• Handle basic security tasks, user provisioning, and audits of security policies.
• Maintain accurate records of IT activities, assets and changes; work with suppliers as needed.
• Administer IT infrastructure including Active Directory, VMware and Microsoft 365, and oversee backup procedures.
