Job summary

Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC in Skipton is seeking an IT Technician to join a vibrant IT function. You will maintain the help desk, support end users in person, on the phone and by email, and work with Group IT to implement and maintain a broad range of technology solutions.

The role requires 2+ years of experience or relevant education with exposure to Microsoft 365. A customer-focused approach and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users are essential.

Qualifications

2+ years IT helpdesk experience in a busy environment.
Experience with Microsoft 365 in a support role.
Strong customer service and ability to explain technical concepts.
Occasional weekend/evening work may be required.
Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Maintain the help desk and resolve IT inquiries promptly.
Support internal end users in person, over the phone and via email.
Work with Group IT colleagues to implement and maintain a broad range of solutions.
Handle asset management and SLAs with external vendors.
Prepare incident reports and track issues and improvements.
