Weston College Group is seeking an IT Support Technician to join the Knightstone Campus IT team on-site in Weston-super-Mare. The role requires 37 hours per week with occasional after-hours on a rota basis and TOIL for extra time.
You will travel between Weston sites and Bristol as needed, so a full driving licence and access to your own transport are essential. The position involves hands-on support for end users and asset management.

This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week. Your usual hours of work will be between 8.30am and 5.00pm. During term-time, you will be required to work until 6.30pm one day per week, on a rota basis, to ensure there is staff coverage of the IT Service Desk. You will accrue Time Off in Lieu (TOIL) for these additional hours.
As an IT Support Technician, you will be working on-site at our Knightstone Campus, where our IT department are based. However, as Weston College have sites across Weston-super-Mare and Bristol, you may from time to time be required to travel to other sites to provide hands‑on technical support, therefore a full driving licence and access to your own transport is essential for this role.

You may also be asked to support with other activities and projects within the IT department.
You will do this in a team that develop, adopt and continually improve work processes which align with best practice including ITIL, ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials standards.
