Job summary

RELX INC is seeking an IT support professional to deliver in-person and remote assistance for laptops, operating systems, software, printers, and mobile devices, including user training and issue resolution.

You will proactively monitor laptop performance, analyse root causes, and implement solutions to improve system health and efficiency, while supporting the IT infrastructure and video conference rooms on site.

Qualifications

Experience and technical knowledge of desktop OS and applications (Windows, macOS) and Office 365.
Basic networking skills.
Hardware and software installation and troubleshooting.
Active Directory fundamentals.
Mobile Device Management (Azure/Intune).
ITIL practices awareness.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support in person and remotely to troubleshoot laptops, OS, software, printers, and devices; include user education.
Proactively monitor laptops to identify issues affecting health and performance; determine root causes.
Support and troubleshoot IT infrastructure for operational issues and degradations.
Escalate problems or continuity events to third-party providers or senior staff as needed.
Check Video Conference Rooms on-site and provide basic support.
Document and record recurring issues and evolving best practices.
