Job summary
Spectro | Jet-Care is seeking an IT Support Technician in Odiham, Hampshire, to join the IT team. The role covers first-line support, troubleshooting, and hands-on provisioning of hardware and software to ensure smooth IT services across the company.
The ideal candidate holds IT/CS qualifications, relevant certifications, and at least one year of technical support experience. Comfortable with after-hours work and travel within the UK/internationally.
Qualifications
- Requires degree in IT/CS or equivalent.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, Security+, MTA/MCP desirable.
- Strong IT support background with Windows OS, Active Directory, LAN, VPNs, and security products.
- Experience with software troubleshooting and technical support.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical info to users.
Responsibilities
- Serve as first point of contact for local and remote users.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade servers, computers, phones, printers, and peripherals.
- Install software and provide support for products including hardware.
- Set up and configure workstations, phones, and staff areas.
